What kind of car do you drive? Is it modified? What are your opinions on it?

I drive a 1989 Nissan 240sx. I have a Japanese motor swap (SR20DET), exhaust manifold, boost controller, front-mount intercooler, 2 way VLSD. It's got some power and I enjoy driving it, but gas takes a chunk out of my pocket.
LOL u wanna talk bout a gas hog, i only drive this on weekends:
79 camaro berlinetta;350 4 bolt main, punched 60 over, ported n polished 202 camelback heads, 1150 double pumper holly carb, sittin on a sweet edlebrock highrise intake. i go through a tank of gas with about 4 trips up the boulevard on the weekends. the blvd is about 4 to 6 miles long, lol, of course that includes racing light to light with other muscle cars and tuners. i believe i posted a pic on here awhile back, but Zac has redone the site since then. On other days i drive my jeep cherokee.
2 1997 Dodge Intrepids
both 3.5V6 24v
1 stock 214Bhp
and the other lightly tuned only the breaks and the Air intake sys. (air filters and the intake sound silencers removed with a small electric air charger).
Atleast you got the better engine Kubba, the newer intrepeds with the 2.7 are JUNK...the oil pump isnt strong enuff, and that allows for alot of buildup on the bottem of the crank, and the port holes for the water pump arent big enuff, therefore not allowing the proper amount of coolent to run through and cool the engine efficiantly. I have seen a 78 year old woman that has had all of her reciepts for the oil changes and so forth have a blown engine @ 58,000 miles. Dodge wont admit that the engines are faulty, but several well known companies here in NY that rebuild engines will swear to it that the engines are straight up bad designs. But you jave the 3.5 ne ways, them things move pretty good.
i've heard alot of similar stories about the 2.7 engines, i wonder is it the same with the new charger/300c 2.7 ?

anyway i blown the engine in a race Biggrin, i have a little white smoke now, not visible under 3000RPM thou I'll rebuild or replace the engine when I've got the time, thats happen cuz i was used to the chevy engines that wont die however you treat them!
I think you've got me beat on gas mileage VIP3R. Nice car, and thankfully you only drive it on weekends, or I could imagine you'd be spending alot more on gas.
2000 Black Jeep TJ [wrangler]

Just put he hard top back on after having the doors and soft top off all summer. [it's always a sad day]

Love it and will never drive anything else. EVER.

I'll try and dig up a pic.

'94 Ford Aspire
I painted the interior black and put a decent sound system in it.

Great gas mileage, 42mpg.

'74 Ford Gran Torino
Completely rebuilt engine and transmission with performance intake and carb, bucket seats, and a slapstick.

Not so good gas mileage, 15mpg. Anyone want to buy it? Wink

I've had an '88 Cutlass, '87 Hurricane, '92 Festiva, and '88 Goldwing, but I've sold those. I'm looking to get a Savage and go on another ride in the spring.
'07 Hyundai Tiburon aka Hyundai Coupe SIII . low 20 mpg. Its Stock and needs a Supercharger.. Tongue
yea Kubba, i put this engine in, and the original engine sits on a stand in my garage waiting for reincarnation, lol, it still runs but it needs valve seals badly. i bought it from the original owner, but he was lettin his daughter drive it, she never changed the oil, and it had huge carbon deposites under the intake about the size of golf balls, rofl. i cleaned that all out and drove it for a year before upgrading to a new motor. as far as the 2.7 being the same in the charger 300, i think it might be, but im sure after all of the problems they had with the original 2.7 they have fixed the issues.
I only have 1000cc engine, lol. The insurance companies in UK are a pain, believe me.
