MadI live in Canada, so I have Bell Sympatico as my internet service, and we got this a while ago. He had Bell Sympatico High Speed DSL service for a long time, and now in this day and age, we decided to upgrade. This was when the problems started happening. Before the upgrade, the setup had been like this:

The good thing was, EVERYTHING WORKED!
Then Bell sent us the new router.
Here's our new setup. I decided to use the router as a signal booster and then connect up that old computer that couldn't connect before because of a weak signal.
If you want more sadness, check this out from my blog: BELL SUPPORT SUCKS!

Well, I haven't really told you what the problems are, have I. Well, basically, I try and ping the new router, and I get a reply, and I can get to the web interface, and It even recognizes that there are computers connected to it! Horray! CoolCoolCool But, QuestionQuestion I can't access the shares on the other computers! I can't even ping them, even though they're showing up in the DHCP table! Please Help Immediately ASAP AWOL or whatever.

Here's some more screenshots:
(by the way, 2mx6h01-ras is the computer we're trying to connect to and we're trying to do it from the laptop, and the DMZplus device is the old router that's hooked up to it (a legendary 3rd generation Linksys wrt54g Wink)

I think you should take out the old router and use a signal repeater instead. It's probably blocking the traffic when you try and access the shares.
thanks, that worked Smile I re arranged everything and now it works.
Hi "connor" - I'm having a similar problem, and I think you'd probably be able to help me. Could you take a look at my thread and see if you can give me any advice, please?? Thanks.
