After many months of thinking about it, I've finally decided to move to UK (Swindon, to be more precise). I have a flight booked for 11. July. I plan to stay in UK for about 3 months, after that I'll see what happens next. I'll probably just visit Poland for a few days and go back to England. The worst thing is that in Swindon I probably won't be able to get online very often
Brits, prepare! Yet another Pole invades your country!

Good luck with that, it is always fun to have a new adventure.
I just moved to Toronto from the Philippines about 10 months ago. Its a real adventure

Thanks a bunch, guys. It will be a big adventure, especially that I want to "blend" into the British society, not like most Poles, who live in their own, small "ghettos". It won't be easy to avoid Poles in UK, there are so many of them

goodluck on it! ^^
anyway, what are your plans there? what will you be doing there?

Well, as I'm going to Swindon only because my girlfriend goes there for 2 months (her brother lives there), so I don't have big plans (some work won't hurt, I think

). After that I'm gonna look for the job in London.
Good luck mate

keep safe and dont forget to drop by here whenever you get a chance..

No one blends into any country, trust me. A few weeks ago when i was in Australia, I was at a Coles supermarket, the lady asked if I had a Fly Buys card I replied No and the lady shouted "what kind of person doesn't have a fly buys card and your accent sounds stupid". Gave a sarcastic answer back and moved on.
Trust me locals will give you s**t and i have experienced it in many country's around the world. I just get through by saying 'Don't care, I'm here'
Wow, you don't have fly buys??
Joking, neither do I
Good luck in the UK d.v!
I know what you mean, Jesse, I've been in many places in Europe in my live. But the worst things happened to me in my own country.
Goodluck d.v! Can we go with you for a vacation?
Just kidding..

good luck d.v. on your adventure.
so you'll live with your GF?

Yeah, but only for 2 months. Then I'll live there alone :/
Earn some pounds while eating and working

Poland is within the European Union so you won't need a visa or anything - just a passport I believe

. Yep, good old UK uses pounds and pences - you'll get use to that (surprised we aren't using Euros yet either...) And btw, you'd get slightly more money if you worked in London but departed to and from work (from Swindon) you'd get a few extra bucks

... as living in London is slightly higher than anywhere else in England I believe...
