Hi,

I was looking at purchasing a dedicated server for around $200-$300 just for video hosting or web hosting and probably as a temporary game sever(for clan practice) ....

Now for such a usage would a 100mbps line be good or 10mbps sufficient .. don't tell me about 1000mbps, as i expect it to be 10x more expensive...

any suggestions ?

i think 100mbps would be better cause you are getting dedicated for web hosting and video hosting thats mean huge flow of traffic. so i would suggest get 100mbps, also you can use your server as seedbox and can make some extra money with it

It's a game server..... hmm.. what a hard and greedy choice lol.

Speaking of the speed, it is necessary for videos and hostings of course.
Game server eats up lots of resources. If you say it's temporary, then better got for 100mbps.
