I answered 23 questions, 3 answers are chosen as best. But I don't see traffic to my sites. I began to doubt if the method is really effective as claimed or I did something wrong. Will appreciate your opinions and experiences.
It isn't a marketing tool, that's why. It's a simple Q&A site and if you spam a site, people aren't going to appreciate that.
But it can be used as a marketing tool, can't it? As long as you obey the rules and provide helpful relevant answers, you might attract the most targeted visitors to your websites. I read some people are quite successful with it. That's why I want to try it. With no luck for me so far, though.
Been doing that tool as well but forum posting and article submission are the effective and great tools which give me a faster result so far.
I haven't tried forum posting yet. Heard it's quite a good way to attract traffic. For me, article submission seems effective, especially, submission to ezinearticles.com But writing articles isn't an easy task for me.
The problem of many marketers is that they try to answer as many questions as possible to get a lot of traffic. But Yahoo answers were not designed to drive traffic to our websites. Also, if you mention your URL in your answers many times you will get banned.

From these reasons I recommend to choose only a few questions which you can answer very well and if you are a good writer invest your time to the article marketing or forum marketing.
yes,we can't use it usually
I have been using it as a marketing tool and sold plenty of my clickbank products using it .
Yahoo Answers is not designed to be a marketing tool. If it allowed you to put in signatures that would be a different story.
