Does anyone know the exact lenght a bluetooth can pick up another fellow bluetooth device? I tried it on a stretch of road near my house slowly taking steps backwards from a friend. I swear mine is broke lol because it stopped finding him and im sure he was still within kicking distance LMAO

Rankin: Try the other way around, get your friend to find you instead while he is walking backwards. Just watch out for open manholes

not realli, default is 10 metres but with my pc, its 100M and i tested it and its true like it says 100M (i use my phone camera as a webcam some times and i can walk all around the house with it).. but lik psycho said, thats another one.

Cool, well i agree with the surroundings, because on a road near my house i could still kick my mate and i couldnt find him. Yet when i went to the local shopping store ( big massive shopping centre ) i sat at a cafe and searched devices and it took me 10 minutes to retrieve names because i found atleast 40 people

Id be surprised if you can get 35m out of a 10m version.
i can be wrong, i'm not sure but my m8s (with virus) kept on connectin 2 phones out from 10M radius.. and we kept on tryin it on a road.. and i got a random guess of about 35M before it disconnected. it wastes out your battery pretty fast thou.
They will always be able to get further just never let to go further if that made sense.
